I know your heart is tired.

I know the ache feels endless.

But hear me—what it means to you is why it hurts.

It’s not weakness. It’s not failure.

It’s love. It’s trust. It’s the depth of your soul saying, “This mattered.”

You’re not just grieving what happened—

you’re grieving the meaning you wrapped around it.

The promises. The hope. The picture of a life you thought you could lean on.

And that’s why the wound feels so sharp.

Because it cut through more than the moment—it cut through the meaning.

But let me remind you of something:

pain is a mirror.

It shows how deeply you can feel,

how deeply you can love,

how deeply you can give.

That’s not something to hide.

That’s something holy.

Yes, it hurts now. It’s supposed to.

But the same meaning that broke you

will be the soil your healing grows from.

Right now, it means loss.

But one day, it will mean survival.

One day, it will mean strength.

One day, it will mean, “I walked through the fire and I did not burn away.”

So let the tears fall. Let the ache breathe.

But don’t let it define you forever.

You are more than what was taken.

You are more than what was broken.

And your soul already knows—

this pain will one day carry your freedom.

I am grieving the loss of everything I envisioned him to be and what my life would have looked like if we had truly turned out to be the Dynamic Duo – like I had suggested to him. It’s so easy to overlook the reality of who he is. The lies, the deceit, the gaslighting, the selfishness, my love and devotion weaponized against me by the man I thought I’d spend the rest of my life with.

    Wendy,
I know that pain, and it’s heavy. Losing him isn’t just about him—it’s about the life you imagined together, the dreams you held. That grief is real, and it’s okay to feel it.

But even in this, God is with you. He sees your heart, your love, your devotion—and He calls you His. The lies and deceit you endured were never your truth, and they don’t define you. God’s love does. He will never abandon you, never twist your love against you, and He will use even this heartbreak to bring you healing and clarity.

Lean into Him, even when it feels impossible. He can carry the weight you feel and remind you that your love was never wasted—it was always seen by the One who matters most. You’re not alone in this; His presence is with you right now, holding every broken piece.
